This week in ENE 483, we will prepare health and safety plans during tutorial on Tuesday. You will complete these in your assigned teams, which have been posted to LON-CAPA. If there are issues with the assignments, please let me know as soon as possible. Only one team member needs to upload your HASP to the dropbox on LON-CAPA. The HASP is due on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 11:59 PM.
On Wednesday, we will look at design considerations for water and wastewater treatment plants. The lecture notes are posted.
On Friday, we will not have class as I need to be at the board meeting for the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors in Philadelphia. I have posted a pre-recorded lecture along with the notes.
I opened up Homework 1 on the history of water and wastewater treatment, design considerations, and population modeling. It is due on Sept. 15 at 11:59 PM. If you need the 48-h grace period, let me know (before the due date) and I will reset the date for you.
I also opened the response to the Request for Qualifications, which is due Sept. 22 at 11:59 PM. You will complete these in your assigned teams. If you need the 48-h grace period, let me know (before the due date) and I will reset the date for you. Only one team member needs to upload your HASP to the dropbox on LON-CAPA.
Below are a few photos from my walks this weekend.
All the best,
Dr. Masten
